Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief General Benjamin Acorda Jr. inspects a firearm during the presentation and blessing of newly-procured PNP equipment at Camp Crame in Quezon City. The equipment included Light Transport Vehicles; Advanced Life Support ambulances; 3,000 units 5.56-mm basic assault rifles; 4,147,266 rounds of ammo; 369 units digital mobile radios; and 1,416 units of enhanced combat helmets.
