Veteran journalist Jessica Soho allegedly declined to have It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda as a guest on her news magazine program, Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho, according to showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin.
In a recent episode of Fermin’s show, CristyFerMinute, she revealed that her reliable source told her that the award-winning news personality is not open in guesting the comedian.
“I’m sure, ‘Nay, Ms. Jessica Soho will decline. Pinsan ko ang make-up artist ni Ma’am Jessica, ayaw niya,” shared Cristy’s insider.
“Hayan dito ninyo na po narinig, ayaw ni Jessica Soho na mag-guest sa kaniyang programa si Vice Ganda,” added Fermin.
It is claimed that due to the past controversy, Jessica Soho is not open to having Vice Ganda as a guest on her program. However, it’s important to note that this information is based on an allegation and should be treated as such.
During Vice Ganda’s concert in May 2013, he made a controversial gang rape joke about Jessica Soho. In response, Jessica Soho released a statement emphasizing that rape is not a joke and should never be used as comedy material. The noontime show then publicly apologized to Jessica Soho for the incident.
“Ang hirap nga lang kung si Jessica Soho magbo-bold. Kailangan gang rape lagi. Sasabihin ng rapist, ‘Ipasa ang lechon.’ Sasabihin naman ni Jessica, ‘Eh, nasaan yung apple?’” said Vice Ganda.
Following the statement, the noontime show host publicly apologized to Jessica.
