Misha de Leon, a former contestant from Idol Philippines season 2, showcases her beautiful and soulful voice in her debut single titled “Damdamin.” The single is released under the Star Pop label.
“Damdamin” explores the challenges of a platonic relationship unexpectedly transitioning into a romantic one. The song was composed and produced by Jungee Marcelo.
Misha shared her thoughts on the song, stating that it resonates deeply with her. She describes it as a groovy track that portrays someone who isn’t ready for a romantic relationship and the emotions they experience when rejecting someone’s confession of feelings.
Having personally faced a similar situation, Misha believes in the importance of timing and feels that the track will connect with many people, particularly young adults or individuals who are not yet ready for a relationship.

She draws inspiration from a range of artists, including the soulful sounds of Amy Winehouse and KZ Tandingan, the electrifying beats of BTS and Arctic Monkeys, and the timeless classics of Adele and Rihanna.
