Dakak Resort, a popular travel destination in Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte, is a venue partner for the upcoming National Sports Tourism and Green Advocacy Summit and the culmination event of Zampen Open Water Swim Circuit 2023.
The fourth and final leg, set for May 28, will be the final chance for athletes and swimmers from all over the regions of the Philippines to test their skills and stamina to the limits.
Registration is ongoing and Dakak Resorts has announced the De Luxe Room and Tree Top Cabanas have already been sold out, but it has opened an additional 15 De Luxe Rooms and Pavilion for participants.
The first three legs took place in Zamboanga City’s seaport, at Buluan Island in Zamboanga Sibugay and at the scenic and heart-shaped Lake Magarang in Zamboanga del Sur.
Dakak is known for its beautiful white sand beach, crystal-clear waters, and stunning natural green surroundings.
For more than three decades in the business, Dakak has remained committed to providing great quality of service for guests to enjoy with their accommodating staff and plenty of fun activities to offer in the area such as ATV rides for rent, horseback riding, pool slides, and many more. Not to mention they hold one of the longest dual ziplines in Mindanao.
“Personally it’s one of the best rides I had, it’s safe and the view was just fantastic seeing the landscape and seascape of the area from above as we slide down the lines. I heard their zipline ride is running for almost 12 years and surely people of all ages (especially thrill-seekers) would enjoy it,” said one of the registrants who had been to the resort a couple of years back.
The Open Water Swim circuit will have an opportunity to promote eco-friendly tourism practices that contribute to sustainable development while showcasing the natural beauty of the Philippines through sports held in Dakak resort.
A timely occasion to raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable sports tourism in our country starting in Zamboanga Peninsula, Mindanao.
