The Philippine Stock Exchange on Thursday suspended the trading of six companies over the non-filing of 2022 annual financial statements.
It posted a notice on the suspension of trading of TKC Metals Corp., Phoenix Petroleum Philippines Corp., Manila Jockey Club Inc., MJC Investments Corp., IPM Holdings and DFNN Inc..
Meanwhile, Philippine Estates Corp., Atok-Big Wedge Co. Inc., Golden MV Holdings Inc., Lepanto Consolidated Mining Co., Roxas and Co Inc. and Zeus Holdings Inc. avoided trading suspension after filing their reports before the May 18 deadline.
The PSE earlier gave listed companies until May 18 to file their respective annual reports.
Under the PSE’s consolidated listing and disclosure rules, the companies’ failure to comply with the requirements of the exchange within the prescribed period will result in the automatic suspension of the trading of their respective shares.
The PSE also reported that seven listed firms, whose shares are currently suspended for non-filing of reportorial requirements, did not also file their 2022 annual reports.
These are Abra Mining and Industrial Corp., Globalport 900 Inc., IP E-Game Ventures Inc., Philab Holdings Corp., Philippine National Construction Corp., PICOP Resources Inc. and Unioil Resources & Holdings Company Inc.
The PSE said the trading of shares of these companies would remain suspended.
