IV of Spades
With everyone excited about the Eraserheads reunion concert this coming December 22, Paolo Valenciano, the concert’s director, teased another comeback from a favorite local band. Paolo took a selfie with IV Of Spades members in the background during rehearsals for the Ang Huling El Bimbo Concert. It’s been years since the band entered a hiatus despite public demand for a comeback. Who knows, maybe they’re next in line for a highly-anticipated reunion concert?
Nadine Lustre
Change is a part of life, and people who are steadfast in their beliefs know when it’s time to walk away from something that no longer makes them happy. She announced leaving the Careless Music label her former flame James Reid owned because their vision no longer aligns with hers.
Although it saddened JaDine fans, they remain supportive of Nadine. May she find happiness in her next endeavors.
People are not talking about
‘Dyesebel’
The Philippine media has several notable and well-loved pieces that became household names. Among them is Mars Ravelo’s Dyesebel. Although the public welcomed the remake of Darna with open arms, they’re skeptical about a Dyesebel one. It has nothing to do with the alleged lead star, Andrea Brillantes, but people are craving more creativity. Maybe it’s time the industry broke free from common stereotypes to explore new avenues for unique stories.
Alex Gonzaga
The public has again bared its claws against Alex because of her recent podcast, where she told them about her trauma after a veteran celebrity gave her a piece of their mind. People believe it was Dina Bonnevie because of an earlier interview with her that seems to have similarities. If the allegations were true, Dina wasn’t scolding Alex to traumatize her. Instead, she was calling out unprofessionalism—as she should.
