Time Cargo pulls away by 15 against Forest Hills

BAGUIO—Time Cargo Logistics, through the steady play of Derek Ramsay, scored 115 points as it pulled away by 15 against Forest Hills in the Am-A division after the third round of the 72nd Fil-Am Men’s Invitational.

Ramsay opened with two birdies to negate a bogey on the fourth and already had 19 at the turn. He made 17 coming home to lead the way with 36 points for the day. David Guangko contributed 27 and Rusty Bayani and Renie Floro each added 26 as Time Cargo tallied 297.

Forest Hills got 29 from general manager Raymond Bunquin, 26 from JB Gosiaco, 25 from Edgar Lee and 22 from Ronnie Littaua for 102 and 282 aggregate.

X1R-Tipsy Pig-Mizuno moved up to third with 269. Marvin Caparros, the PR manager for Mercedes-Benz, led with 31 and got ample support from Raymond Co 26, JB Garcia 26 and Neil Arce 23.

Camp John Hay Golf Club (95-323) remains on top in Fil-A, but its lead was cut to only six by Summit Point (105-317). Eight points adrift was Uragun-1 (96-315).

Kumpadres virtually locked in for the title by scoring 94 points in the third round for a commanding 54-point lead with one round to go in the Fil-C division.

Ronald Busto of Isabela made an ace at the 18th hole of Camp John Hay Golf Club and won a brand new Vespa S125. He used a 7-wood and Titleist ProV1 ball. Flightmates were Dexter Midon and Joselito Santos.
