Mayora Gem Castillo, President and CEO of Paseo de San Pablo, has received the prestigious Honorary Philanthropist of the Year 2022 award from Nation Builders and Mosliv Awards.
The wife of San Pablo City Mayor Vicente “Vic” Amante, Castillo received the award last November 25 at the Grand Ballroom Okada Manila.
The awarding body cited her for her “noble commitment to service by creating opportunities out of challenges.”
Castillo said this was not just an act of charity but is “part of a process of reciprocity that ultimately adds value to the community” in San Pablo, Laguna.
“Salamat po sa awards na ito. Ang pagseserbisyo ko po sa tao ay noon pang ako’y nasa showbiz industry pa, dahil ibinabalik ko po sa tao kung ano may blessings mayron ako ngayon, dahil inspiration ko ang aking pamilya ngayon,” Mayora Gem said. Roy Tomandao
