The City Government of Caloocan, led by Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan, distributed a total of 150 start-up packages for graduates of the free skills training program of the Caloocan City Manpower Training Center (CCMTC) under the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) on Thursday, November 24.
The said kits contain different tools that can be utilized by the graduates as a start-up package for their hairdressing, massage and cosmetology services.
In line with this, a total of 1,227 trainees graduated from different e-learning and face-to-face courses today, in which some will take the NC-II Certification and Assessment conducted by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
Mayor Along stated that CCMTC shall assist those who will undergo the said assessment to help them solidify their technical competency.
The enrollment for the next batch of trainees is on-going and interested applicants may walk-in at CCMTC Office-Bldg. F. Roxas St., between 1st and 2nd Avenue, South Caloocan; PESO Office, 6th floor, Caloocan City Hall-South; or at PESO Office 3rd floor, Caloocan City Hall-North.
