CityState Savings Bank, the thrift bank unit of the ALC Group of Companies founded by the late Ambassador Antonio Cabangon Chua, plans to launch digital and online platforms to better serve its customers as it marks its 25th anniversary this month.
CSBank president Benjamin Ramos said Monday the bank, with 30 branches in Metro Manila and key provinces, is embarking on aggressive plans that will include online and mobile banking soon, with focus on addressing the ever-changing and demanding needs of its clients.
“On our 25th year, we are more than ever committed to serving our countrymen with their financial requirements, and growing the bank,” Ramos, an ALC Group veteran of over 30 years, said in a statement.
CSBank chief operating officer Jaime Araneta said the bank was working on a digital-first platform and automated credit decisioning and other support systems for core lending business, subject to regulatory approval. “This aims to provide easier but secure access to bank services, enhancement of products, and simplified processes to enhance customer experience,” he said.
