Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co., the second-largest lender in terms of assets, said Tuesday it expanded its partnership with remittance company PERA HUB, allowing individuals to conveniently send money to the bank’s account holders nationwide.
Metrobank executive vice president and retail banking sector head Richard So said Tuesday the latest partnership shows that Metrobank remains committed to improving its services and providing customers with more accessible and convenient channels to conduct their financial transactions with the bank.
Under the partnership, senders can remit P100 up to P25,000, with a minimal fee of P100 per transaction. Recipients can easily withdraw the money they received from any Metrobank ATM or over-the-counter in Metrobank branches for passbook account holders.
Individuals who need to send cash to Metrobank account holders can simply head to the nearest PERA HUB branch; accomplish the remittance form; and show one valid ID to the PERA HUB agent.
