The Regional Marine Pollution Exercise (MARPOLEX) 2022 conducted in Makassar, Indonesia was a success, followed by the signing of a joint declaration for the end of the exercise led by Exercise Co-Directors CG Rear Admiral Robert Patrimonio (of the Philippine Coast Guard), Captain Weku Frederik Karuntu (DGST Indonesia), and Rear Admiral Hashimoto Masanori (Japan Coast Guard).
