Knowledge Channel continues to promote the importance of early childhood development to Filipino families by launching TalkED: Early Childhood Series, an online educational talk show to begin streaming today on Knowledge Channel’s Facebook page and Kumu’s FYE Channel.
Hosted by celebrity mom Bianca Gonzalez, the monthly series will bring in guest experts on child development to discuss child-related matters and share advice to help parents bring out the best in their children during their formative years and foster a stronger bond in the family.
In its pilot episode, TalkED features child development specialist and founding partner of Playworks Early Childhood Centers, Gabby Roa-Limjoco.
She will discuss the impact of the ongoing pandemic on young children and steps to help them adjust to the new normal setup.
Viewers can also actively participate by sending their questions to the invited guest expert and giving virtual gifts via Facebook and Kumu, with its proceeds to be used in Knowledge Channel’s continuous efforts to bring accessible and quality educational materials to more children and teachers nationwide.
The first episode streams today at 7:00 p.m. It will also air as a two-part episode on Knowledge Channel, available on SKYcable, Cignal, GSat, SatLite, PCTA cable affiliates, and BEAM DTT, Saturdays and Sundays, 5:40 p.m., on its PTA Time block.
