The city governments of Caloocan and Navotas are now providing various free medical services including cervical cancer screening and circumcision.
Navotas City conducted free cervical cancer screening to residents including Barangay Health Workers (BHW) among the first beneficiaries.
The program was led by the Navotas City Health Office and by Mayor Toby Tiangco in solidarity with the celebration of Cervical Cancer Awareness Month.
Free screening will be conducted every Tuesday, from 1 am to 3 pm for Navoteñas 21 years of age and older. The LGU said 10-20 slots are available per schedule and there is a first come, first served policy. Jun David
Meanwhile in Caloocan City, apart from currently underway today, there will also be another free Operation Tule at Caloocan City Medical Center (South) on May 20 and May 23-27, 2022 from 8 am to 12 noon.
According to Mayor Oscar Malapitan, hospital will receive 100 slots per day, just contact and register at the Hospital Administrator’s office, necessarily with the parent or guardian.
Operation Tule is a program of the Caloocan city government in collaboration with the city hard -working health workers.
