(No. 51) Anakalusugan party-list is considering Fr. Ernesto “Totit” Mandanas Jr. as one of its nominees for the May 9 polls, along the line of succession as provided for under election rules.
Fr. Totit, who has served in various parishes, is the younger brother of Batangas Gov. Hermilando “Dodo” Mandanas.
This after the untimely demise of Atty. Gina Reyes-Mandanas who passed away Thursday.
Fr. Totit is a strong health advocate who will continue the legacy of Reyes-Mandanas.
“Just as we are mourning, we also take heart that we will continue to push for Ate Gina’s desire for every Filipino to have equitable access to free health services,” the party-list group said in a statement.
“Ate Gina will serve as an inspiration for Anakalusugan’s stronger campaign for free check ups and free maintenance medicines and better health facilities across the country,” it added.
