Actress Bianca Umali reveals that many are convincing her to join beauty pageants but at this point, it’s not part of her plan.
“Many are asking me to try my luck but honestly, I don’t see myself joining beauty pageants even if they’d already change the height requirements,” the 5-foot-4 Kapuso star said.
Bianca shared that she would rather concentrate on her acting career and explore other roles that will hone her skill. At present, she has a new program on GMA, the second installment of Mano Po Legacy titled, “Her Big Boss” where she plays an office girl.
In the series directed by Easy Ferrer, she is joined by Ken Chan, Kelvin Miranda, Pokwang, Teejay Marquez, Mr. Ricardo Cepeda, Marina Benipayo, Ms. Arlene Muhlach, Sarah Edwards, Haley Dizon, Sarah Holmes, Jem Manicad, Tyrone Tan, Lime Aranya, Blue Cailes, and Phi Palmos.
“It has a nice storyline and a great follow-up to its successful predecessor. Hope the viewers will like and support it just like the maiden installment of the series,” she said.
“I don’t know if I already shared this in my past interviews, but most probably, if I’m not an actress today, I might have ended up in the corporate world. Actually, I still dream of it even until now. I love office work. I like the idea of reporting to the firm from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. I like to do paper works, typing, or doing the tasks of a secretary or executive assistant. I want to be busy the whole day,” she added on how she can relate to her character.

Comedienne Pokwang admits that she really has plans of putting up a restaurant where she can showcase her cooking expertise.
“Actually, even before the pandemic struck, I was already negotiating with some people for a spot in Antipolo, particularly its overlooking part,” she states. “Until the pandemic hit and there was a lockdown. So, everything halted.
“Nowadays, I have lots of acting projects which I’m so grateful for. So, I still can’t attend to that restaurant thing. Eventually, it will come. In the meantime, I will just continue saving since our food products will be rebranded.”
Meanwhile, the ace comedienne just came back from Dubai for a GMA Pinoy TV show.
“We had a great show! Our Filipinos there really enjoyed our presentation. They wanted to watch a live program and just wanted to laugh. I’m happy to entertain them!”
Viewers referred to her as Aling Tarsing, the character she portrayed in Pepito Manaloto: Ang Unang Kuwento.
“Yes! That’s very heartwarming. That only means they really watched our sitcom,” Pokwang says.
