CALAMBA, Laguna – Police Brigadier General Antonio C. Yarra, Regional Director of the Calabarzon police, recently met the members of the Camp Vicente Lim Press Corps at the ACCPI Lounge, Camp BGen Vicente P Lim here.
The meeting of RD Yarra and the CVL Press Corps last March 11 aims to strengthen the partnership of the Police Regional Office 4A (PRO 4A) and media practitioners in the region to deliver timely, factual, and reliable information to the people of Calabarzon.
During the gathering, Roy Tomandao, President, Camp Vicente Lim Press Corps, introduced its members to RD Yarra and conveyed their gratitude to the Regional Director for taking time out from his hectic schedule to meet the media members.
They also discussed the issues and concerns of the media within the region and tackled possible solutions to concerned matters.
Members of the media expressed their full cooperation and support to the programs and activities of PRO 4A.
“Makakaasa po kayo na kami bilang miyembro ng media ay katuwang niyo sa pagpapalaganap ng mga mahahalagang impormasyon sa publiko,” Tomandao said as he expressed his support to PRO4A.
Meanwhile, Yarra was grateful for the courtesy rendered by the CVL Press Corps, assuring his assistance and support to the media practitioners. He also underscored the importance of protecting the life, liberty, and security of media workers.
In parting, Yarra said that under his leadership, the people of CALABARZON shall expect a peaceful and secured community.
“Makakamit po natin ito sa ating tuloy-tuloy na pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan. Katuwang ang ating mga kaibigan sa media maipapaabot natin sa publiko ang lahat ng magagandang programa at proyekto ng PRO 4A sa mga mamamaya,” he said.
