As COVID-19 cases in the country decline and in-person classes return, Ang Probinsyano Party-list has called on schools to prepare ahead of time.
Rep. Edward Delos Santos of Ang Probinsyano Party-list said: “We hope COVID-19 cases continue to decline so that students can return to school next semester. However, we must guarantee their safety at school because COVID-19 remains a threat.”
Delos Santos made the appeal as his party-list group continues to assist the youth.
Recently, 500 college students in Bocaue, Bulacan received educational assistance from Ang Probinsyano in coordination with the local government headed by Bulacan Vice Governor Willy Alvarado and Bocaue Mayor JJS Santiago.
Ang Probinsyano nominee Michael Chua and Rondelle De Leon, who is running for councilor in Bocaue, were also present.
The recipients expressed their deep gratitude to the party-list group.
“I’m a working student, and my life has been very difficult during this pandemic, “ says Eugene Munda, a 2nd year college student.
“I’m grateful for your all your help, Ang Probinsyano Partylist. This is going to make a big difference for us,” he said.
“Our priority in Ang Probinsyano Party-list is to fulfill the dreams of these students,” said Rep. Delos Santos. “Our party-list recognizes and understands their difficulties during this pandemic.”
Delos Santos adds that this is not the first time the party-list has helped students.
Ang Probinsyano Party-list has visited remote provinces to personally assess and learn about the situation and extend help to fellow probinsyanos.
