“Na miss namin kayo!” the “King of Primetime,” Coco Martin told Cebuanos in his first ever public appearance since the pandemic. It was an emotional and memorable visit to Cebu province for Coco Martin this March 1, Tuesday. Martin led the grand rallies of the new partylist he supports all over Cebu. The actor is now leading #164 AP Partylist in advocating for the transport and livelihood sector.
Martin arrived at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport with AP Party-list first nominee Rep. Ronnie Ong. Aside from being Coco Martin’s long-time friend, Ong was also the second nominee from the previous party-list Martin supported.
The team of Coco Martin started their day with a motorcade and grand rally in Toledo City before proceeding to Talisay City. They capped the day with another motorcade and grand rally in Lapu-Lapu CIty. After the 30-minute motorcade around the streets of the city, the AP Team proceeded to the Hoops Dome outdoor grounds which became a sea of blue and white as fans and supporters eagerly met their idol Coco Martin and the rest of the AP Partylist nominees, along with OPM artists Bassilyo, Smugglaz and Sisa.
It was a happy an emotional reunion for Coco Martin and his Cebuano fans as they performed various song numbers for the crowd, including the nationalistic AP Partylist anthem, “Ako’y Pilipino” that sings of the Filipinos’ hardwork, resilience, and perseverance. Salamat Cebu sa mainit na pagtanggap sa amin, I love you!” said Coco Martin to the gathered crowd. AP Partylist #AkoyPilipino, number 164 sa balota,” Coco Martin called on the audience.
