The more than a dozen of videos that chronicle the closeness of Ken Suson and Stell Ajero is a perfect of bromance, which Google defines as “a close, nonsexual relationship between two men.”
The hot members of SB19, Felip Jhon and Stellvester, are the major reasons why the majority of their supporters get kilig overload every time their affection and care for each other become the central subject matter of the shipping videos dedicated to them. Thus, KenTell, a portmanteau created for them by their shippers, was born.
Even the rest of the SB19 quintet composed of their leader John Pablo Nase, Josh Cullen Santos, and Justin de Dios also have their fair share of being total care bears.
So what is it about Stell and Ken that brings kilig and that hope against hope that this bromance transforms into real life, boys love romance?
Their being openly warm and tender towards one another is undeniable. In the many videos, one can witness how they hold hands and reach out for each other.
When seated together, their thighs gently touch, with either Ken or Stell’s hand, from time to time, lands on their respective flanks. Even if they are seated apart, the eye locking incidents, are obvious. They also make it a point to be near each other most of the time.
Giving bear hugs and tighter than tight embraces is a natural thing for the duo. Stell indulges the piggyback ride antics of Ken.
When Stell becomes most playful, planting a kiss on Ken’s cheeks or pretending to bite on the latter’s neck instantaneously takes place.
In the many interviews, without them realizing it, their emotional and brother connection becomes most apparent. Their care and concern for each other is not “put on.” The sincerity is all visible.
Oftentimes, they act as if they are the only people in the world who are having so much fun and the time they spend together is precious and they make each other happy.
What I like most about the bromance between Ken and Stell is that to be a spectator to two young men who are congenial and expressing their care for one another shows the impressive levels of their emotional intelligence and health. They are showing to all that men need not be so “rigid” and “inflexible” in demonstrating feelings and acts of physical intimacy.
Ken and Stell may not be aware of it but they are cosmopolitan and progressive in their ways of dealing with each other. As they celebrate their friendship in a manner that they know is best for them, with the whole world as their audience, one can conclude that Ken and Stell indeed have a fine bromance worthy of emulation. Real men can and may show their feelings and affection, too, and yes, there is nothing “pink” about it. And people must also accept the fact that we must not box men on what they can and cannot do, especially with their male friends.
It is high time for us to stop judging other people just because they are more comfortable in their own skin. Let us end the dagger looks and wicked smiles when we become on-lookers to a pair of men who are feeling and showing their platonic love.
Let us hope that as the days go by, there will be more Stell Ajero and Ken Suson happy vibes videos and photos. Frankly speaking, I’d rather watch all the KenTell bromance videos that are currently online than view all the heated arguments and hatred that currently consumes the majority because of the current political climate What you may consider juvenile, this KenTell bromance, brings a lot of joy, not to mention kilig, and that sense of peace, to so many people who need inspiration and smiles.
