To further improve access to vaccination against COVID-19 for its residents and workers, the Quezon City government is operating 140 sites throughout the city’s six districts on a daily basis.
The city is expanding and intensifying its vaccination program to accommodate the eligible population, estimated at 2.8 million residents, including 5- 11-year-old children.
The figure does not include the thousands of non-resident workers who also get their shots in the city.
The sites are comprised of health centers, malls, schools, community venues, churches and special venues, such as the Smart Araneta Coliseum and Quezon Memorial Circle.
The city government is also conducting vaccinations inside subdivisions and private workspaces, government agencies, care homes, and other closed institutions.
Home vaccinations for bedridden and differently abled populations continue to be conducted, as are drive-thru jabs in several mall parking lots.
Most recently, pharmacy-based inoculations have begun in coordination with the Department of Health.
Individuals may register to be vaccinated through the QC VaxEasy Portal www.qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph/qcvaxeasy. The city government posts the schedule and the vaccination sites on their official website (www.quezoncity.gov.ph) and official Facebook page (Quezon City Government).
Citizens may also register at their barangays in order to book their vaccination schedules. Limited walk-in slots are also available in mall vaccination sites.
