It’s a flashy and noisy New Year’s Eve episode in today’s iBilib, filmed on location at Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife, Quezon City.
First-time guest Kyle Ocampo joins Chris Tiu, James, Roadfill, and frequent kiddie iBiliber Raph Landicho as they witness a world-class performance from the Iduys Fire Dancers, the first Filipino fire-oriented act on Singapore’s Night Safari.
They learn lots about fire-eating, as well as poi dancing, fire blowing and the use of the dragon staff.
In response, Chris makes a flame thrower using cornstarch, and a lighter.
In “Bilibabols,” Jeremy Sabido and Lexi Gonzales from Starstruck visit the Dragon Fireworks warehouse in Bulacan to learn how fireworks are made, before being treated to a spectacular light show.
In “Street Genius,” see how to make a platform from as few as three planks strong enough for you to walk on and reach an object atop you. In addition, know why a golf ball fired from a cannon and aimed at a hanging watermelon about to be dropped will always hit it, regardless of its speed.
Finally, find out how to make a D.I.Y. horn from an old hose and plastic bottles in “Huling Hirit.”
All these on the year-ender episode of your favorite science show every Sunday morning on GMA.
