Nico Sevilla - 70th Fil-Am Invitational Golf Tournament
Nico Sevilla scored 20 points at the Baguio Country Club to help Islander-Mizuno into the top 3 in the AM Championship after the first round in the 70th Fil-Am Invitational Golf Tournament in Baguio City.

Che’Lus I assembled 111 for 231. Mike Castro topscored with 35 and was backed by Warren Pelletier’s 27, John Quinata’s 25 and Jesse Quenga 24.

Mizuno and Che’Lus I also went head to head in 2011 but the former won by count-back.

“It’s a comfortable lead going to BCC. But we can’t be complacent in the last two rounds. We need to continue to play and score well,” said team owner Brixton Aw.

Action shifts to the tougher Baguio Country Club layout on Monday.
