Ortiz who was noticeable in better, sharper and slimmer shape weighed in at 236 pounds, five pounds lighter when they first met while Wilder added five pounds to his, as he scaled at 219 pounds.

The 34-year old American champ will defend his WBC belt for the tenth time in what many have labeled a dangerous rematch against the 40-year old Cuban.

Ortiz is vying to be the first Cuban heavyweight champ and spent a total of 12 weeks in training, doubling the effort since they last fought in March.

On the other hand, Wilder remains entertaining as ever since he came to Vegas.

He currently has a record of 41 wins, 40 via knockout and one draw while Ortiz has 26 knockouts in 31 wins, one loss and two no contests.

Making the cut as well were the co-main event of the November 23rd bout featuring three-division champion Leo Santa Cruz and the challenger Miguel Flores.

Santa Cruz weighed at 129.5 pounds as Flores at 130 pounds.
