For the fourth time, the Philippines will play host to the prestigious Southeast Asian Games, a biennial multi-sport event with the goal of ‘promoting cooperation, understanding, and relations’ among the 11 member countries in the Southeast Asian region.
This year’s event, officially known as the 30th Southeast Asian Games, will be the largest in history with 56 sporting events, and esports debuting as an official medal event.
To make this historic sporting event accessible to more Filipinos, 5 and Cignal TV, join together as the Official Broadcasters of the 30th Southeast Asian Games.
Under the umbrella campaign “Sama-Sama sa SEA Games”, 5 and Cignal TV hope to unite Filipinos locally and abroad to rally behind Philippine athletes, and support them in the games. Likewise, Sama-Sama is a battle cry for the MVP Group that’s working tirelessly and together to provide Filipinos with the most comprehensive, up-to-date, and in-depth coverage on free-to-air, pay TV, and digital.
Come November 30 to December 11, everyone can catch all the SEA Games sporting action both on TV and online for free-to-air at channels 5 and 5 Plus; for Cignal, there’s One Sports plus three new channels: SEA Games Channel, Team Pilipinas, and SEA Games News Channel all exclusive for Cignal and Satlite subscribers; and for digital, there’s ESPN5.com, the Cignal Play app plus three SEA Games-dedicated YouTube channels and Facebook Live that will be available 24/7
