Subic Bay Freeport”•Redondo Peninsula Energy (RP Energy) has won a Quill Excellence Award for its corporate social responsibility program.
“This shared success is testament to our years of shared partnership for the programs we implement. We dedicate this to every volunteer who woke up early, went beyond their call of duty, to help our environment and the community,” said Jason Gavina, RP Energy’s CSR manager.
RP Energy’s “Protect the Bay Initiative,” its flagship environmental CSR program, aims to build a community of volunteers and organizations that will help preserve, protect and sustain the Subic Bay and its coastal communities.
The initiative includes coastal cleanup activities, recycled art competitions, advocacy runs, environmental forums, and livelihood programs for fisherfolk groups.
The Philippine Quill is the country’s most prestigious awards program in the field of business communication.
It has been bestowing the seal of approval to the most reputable organizations and corporations for almost 20 years, emphasizing the use of excellent communication to achieve business goals and to make an impact in the community.
The award is given annually by the International Association of Business Communicators-Philippines.
