'Joker' remains the ruler for the second week at the North American box office.

Kapuso hunk and StarStruck Season 6 alumna Prince Clemente is proud to call GMA his home.

He will play SF Randy Katipunan aka Piccolo in the Pinoy adaptation of the hit Korean drama Descandants of the Sun. To prepare for his role as a soldier, Prince and some members of the cast underwent Special Forces training.

Meanwhile, Kapuso actress Jenzel Angeles has been part of various GMA shows such as Onanay and The Cure. Like Prince, she is also part of Descendants of the Sun.

“My role is Hazel Flores. For this Filipino adaptation, I’m one of the nurses and it makes me feel very excited. Siyempre, kinakabahan po ako kasi ang daming mabibigat na artista na makakasama ko sa Descendants of the Sun,” she said.

GMA Network has played a big role in the career of Kapuso comedian Tetay. He shared the Network has been helping him hone his skills to this day.

Currently, he is part of the cast of the primetime series The Gift as Tonya, Nadia’s (Jean Garcia) best friend, with Asia’s Multimedia star Alden Richards. He is also part of Backyard Productions’ movie, Kiko En Lala.

“I don’t know what words to use to describe how happy I am right now. Every day, you learn something. You just keep on taking care of your craft lang. So, with regards sa aking pagiging comedian, ‘yung nagawa ng GMA, sobra. Now, I’m happy with The Gift. Mayroon siyang onting patawa, but it’s leaning to the dramatic side,” he said.

Tetay added, “Nagpapasalamat ako. Nung una, sinasabi ko pasok ba ako dito? Medyo madrama pero kami yung nagpo-provide ng comic relief. And then, ang dami pa nilang dapat abangan. When I have the chance na mag Twitter party, really i enjoy it. You see every day, there’s something new. You read all those tweets, ang galing, sobra nakakaproud.”

GMA Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara shared that she is looking forward to showing the audience what the artists are capable of doing, “The projects these artists are involved in are very challenging and we have a lot in store for them as they offer us promising portrayals of the characters entrusted to them. It will be very exciting for the artists and the viewers.”

Present in the contract signing were GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Daryl Zamora, and Lito Trinidad, Prince’s co-manager.
