LUXURIOUSLY GREEN. Filigree’s Botanika Nature Residences boasts green features and a design that complements its surroundings.

A signature residential “masterpiece” of real estate brand Filigree, Botanika Nature Residences holds a 4-star rating from BERDE (Building for Ecologically Responsive Design Excellence) the green building rating scheme of the Philippine Green Building Council, a national nonprofit organization that promotes the sharing of knowledge on green practices with the property industry.

As one of Filigree’s pilot projects under BERDE certification system, Botanika has ensured the building’s environmental performance meets the standard, from planning and construction, down to delivery. In fact, it has surpassed its initial aim for a 3-star rating prior to project completion.

Its iconic leaf-shaped structure is an innovation in high-end condominium living. A collaboration between US-based Architecture International and Leandro V. Locsin Partners, it features an atrium at the core which allows natural light and ventilation that can reduce energy use and water consumption.

Other green features include a 2.7-meter ceiling height for each unit, to ensure the living space has better cooling capacity, thus, consumes less energy; and tinted tempered glass balcony door and windows which provide cross ventilation and balcony overhangs to minimize heat.

The property, located in Filinvest City, allows residents to live more sustainably through its features such as high ceilings and tinted windows that help reduce energy consumption.

Moreover, parking floors are underground and constructed to support the gardens and lawn areas—essentially a large green roof over the basement.

Botanika’s commitment to authentic green living goes beyond its interior as it harmoniously co-exists with its environs. With approximately 70 percent of its total land area allotted for gardens and open breathing spaces, the building itself was designed to respect and complement the natural rolling terrain of its location, while still clinging onto details like top-end finishes and lavish amenities.

“Botanika is a condo complex that is laid out in a big garden, where greens are integrated in the whole development,” said Filigree head Catherine Ilagan.

“But more than the literal greeneries, its core design is what really makes it an authentic green building. This ensures the high quality of life for its residents, which is a luxury nowadays,” she added.

The project was also recognized as Best Apartment Philippines Award with a 5-star rating by the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2018.
