ABS-CBN has begun to visit different communities in the Philippines to bring joy and public service to Filipino families through the “Kapamilya Love Weekend.”
A part of the Kapamilya network’s 65th anniversary celebration, the first “Kapamilya Love Weekend” was held at Brgy. Muzon in Taytay, Rizal last Aug. 18. It included free medical and dental check-up for residents aside from other services delivered with the help of volunteer doctors and partner organizations.
ABS-CBN officials and employees participated in the first leg of the event with Kapamilya artists Richard Gutierrez and Christian Bables, delighting the people of Brgy. Muzon with fun games and prizes.
The “Kapamilya Love Weekend” is just one of the many public service activities launched and are being conducted by the company in its more than six decades of being in the service of the Filipino. It is an opportunity for the Kapamilya network to express its gratitude for the love and support in the past 65 years.
“Kapamilya Love Weekend” will go to different barangays in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao starting this month.
