Frankie Lim is returning to coach the University of Perpetual Help Altas this Friday.
Lim took a leave of absence after the Altas lost badly to the defending champion San Beda Red Lions, 56-102, last Aug.16 in the 95th National Collegiate Athletic Association men’s basketball tournament at the FilOil-Flying V Arena in San Juan. The Altas will meet the San Sebastian Stags to seek their fourth win in nine games, with Lim taking over from Myk Saguiguit.
“Lim is back with the ALTAS after missing the game against EAC last Tuesday as he was on leave. We have to move on and focus on our campaign,” said Franki Gusi, the school’s management committee representative to the NCAA.
With Saguiguit coaching last Tuesday, Rey Peralta unloaded 21 points to help lift the University of Perpetual Help Altas to an 88-87 win over the Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals for their third triumph in eight outings.
