Heads up, queens! Aquaria is coming to the Philippines to serve some stunning “lewks.”
The RuPaul Drag Race season 10 winner will grace the “biggest fashion eleganza extravaganza” at SM Megamall Mega Fashion Hall on Sept. 2 and at The Block Atrium SM North Edsa on Sept. 3 as part of the SM Store’s latest campaign featuring the New York drag queen.
In a statement, the SM Store said the campaign “is all about self-expression through fashion, regardless of who you are, whatever style you go for.”
Aside from being the youngest queen to snatch the crown at RuPaul’s popular drag race competition, the 23-year-old has made waves in the fashion industry.
Aquaria has appeared in global campaigns for Moschino and MAC Viva Glam collaborated with designer Jeremy Scott and makeup brand Nyx. She has also graced the cover of Vogue Italia, Gay Times, and Paper Magazine.
He also made headlines this year as the first drag queen to walk the red carpet of the MET Gala.
For the campaign with SM, Aquaria, who’s known for his catchphrase “turning looks, stunting pretty,” serves head-turning, stunning lewks as, aside from wearing the items, SM said he was hands-on in the styling process, even personally selecting the merchandise for the shoot.
Aquaria makes a statement as he piles on items from SM Shoes and Bags as well as SM Accessories while in full fashion drag.
