Over the last nine years, the Junior Chamber International of Manila together with its partners PHINMA Corporation and the Asian Institute of Management, has been undertaking the search to recognize the most outstanding business and community leaders in the Philippines that have contributed greatly to the building of the modern Filipino nation, called the Ramon V. Del Rosario Awards after the charter president of the Junior Chamber International Manila, Mr. Ramon V. Del Rosario, we continue this great tradition and have selected the eleventh awardee in celebration of 10 years of the Ramon V. Del Rosario Award of Nation Building.
Previous winners have been the likes of Amb. Jesus Tambunting, Senen Bacani, Washington SyCip, Vicente Paterno, Henry Sy, Sr., George Ty, Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, Oscar Lopez, Manuel Pangilinan and Diosdado Banatao, all of whom have influenced the lives of many Filipinos in the past, today, and well into the future.
Alongside RVR Award for Nation Building, the first winners of The Ramon V. Del Rosario Siklab Awards will also be recognized. Starting last 2018 the national search for the youth leaders of tomorrow was started by PHINMA, in cooperation with the De La Salle University Ramon V. Del Rosario College of Business, and Junior Chamber International Manila. The award will recognize youth leaders who have demonstrated positive impact on their community and the nation by their works and services and seeks to promote the future young leaders of nation-building.
This year, the main awarding will be held on July 25, 2019 at the Manila Polo Club. Spectators may witness the event by watching live via Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/rvrawards/.
