The City of Manila has recognized major trade enabler Asian Terminals Inc. as the Philippine capital’s top taxpayer and development partner.
In ceremonies commemorating the city’s 448th founding anniversary, former president and Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada lauded ATI and other corporations for serving as Manila’s staunch partners in progress through taxes they dutifully contribute to the city coffers.
ATI was named the city’s top real property taxpayer and sixth highest business tax contributor for the fiscal year 2018.
ATI operates the Manila South Harbor, one of two international port gateways into Manila, which keeps vital economic goods flowing in the Philippine supply chain.
