Clark Global City will once again be the center of multisport action as the Clark Global City Duathlon 2019 co-presented by Smart fires off on the morning of May 12.
Now on its 2nd year, the event brings more than 400 aspiring and veteran duathletes, including some surprise celebrities, together on the sprawling CGC grounds. Participants hailing from Batanes to Batangas race their choice of two distances, a 6km run—60km bike—4km run or a shorter 3km run—30km bike—2km run course which takes them on CGC’s well-paved roads and a stretch of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx) from South Clark to Porac before returning to the finish line at CGC.
At stake in the event supported by Clark Global City (CGC), Smart, NLEX-SCTEx, Standard Insurance, Udenna Group, Royce Hotel & Casino, hydration partners Pocari Sweat and Sip Water, and official timer Garmin are specially designed trophies and gift items for all winners (age-group, relay, and team competition). The awarding ceremony takes place 11 a.m. following the race. The Event Expo on site features gear and other products from sponsors and multisport partners.
