CamSur, Iriga, and Imus scored victories in their first game of Season 2 of the National Basketball League over the weekend.
AJ Margallo had 12 points and 11 rebounds as the CamSur Express defeated the Pasig Rios-Gameville, 76-64, while Mark Raton had 18 points and eight rebounds in the Iriga Oragons’ 86-85 win over the Quezon City Rising Stars.
Kim Cinco had 29 points and converted eight of his 14 three-points as Imus Bandila beat the Dasmariñas Ballers, 81-79.
The Express, Oragons, and Bandila joined the reigning champion Parañaque Aces, Taguig Generals, and the Bulacan Starts for the early lead in the team standings with a 1-0 card.
Meanwhile, Louie Pasamante had 27 points as the Zamboanga Valientes MLV defeated the One Cainta Titan, 83-58, to improve its record to 1-1.
