With their three children, the Anlueco couple sells street foods like carrot balls, various types of fish balls, meatballs, and lumpia rolls, among others.

With the help of their workers, they have rolled out their seven “Nego Karts” to various schools in Bayombong, such as the Nueva Vizcaya State University, St, Mary’s College, and the Nueva Vizcaya General Comprehensive High School for business.

“I personally designed our street food carts based on our requirements. I also helped in welding their parts to save some expenses,” Albert said.

The street food carts were bought gradually by the couple as they saved from their daily earnings.

From 2 P.M. to 7 P.M., the Anluecos now earn their income with ease and comfort, as they send their children to school.

“We were really very poor then, but with our vision, we kept on striving to where we are now. It takes a lot of diligence, patience, and resourcefulness for us to reach our status now. We owe this success to God,” Jennifer said.

With their good character and economic standing in the community, barangay officials of Don Mariano Marcos recommended them to the Search for “Idol Kong Pamilya” of the provincial government.

Their continuing good character In the barangay also prompted barangay officials to recommend them again as their entry to the provincial government’s Search for “Idol Kong Entrepreneur” – which they eventually won.

The couple is one of the many families and entrepreneurs in the province being assisted by the provincial government since 2014.

Worthy families and entrepreneurs here are given cash assistance and recognition for being models in their respective communities.

With their cash prize, Anlueco couple used it to purchase additional motorized carts, which they now use in peddling their street food products.

The provincial government continues to monitor the couple’s progress, providing further training for management development, among other assistance.

The Department of Science and Technology also provided them with needed facilities to simplify their food production.

“We started our food preparation manually and it was difficult. We are grateful for the DOST assistance and the provincial government’s full support to our business. Now we save time and effort and use this for other productive works,” Albert added.

Despite their busy schedules from Mondays to Fridays, the Anlueco couple sets aside Saturdays and Sundays as a day of recreation and worship.

Albert said they are now paying for a house and lot within their community to have a spacious and rent-free area for their family and business.

“It was really sacrifice and hard work that counted when we started this business. I have no vice to attend and spend our earnings on, that is why it bore more fruits,” he added.
