ABS-CBN Corp. and GMA Network Inc. both claimed higher television ratings in November this year.
ABS-CBN said it was again ranked as the country’s number one TV network in November, registering an average audience share of 45 percent and maintaining its double-digit lead of 15 points against GMA with 30 percent, based on data from Kantar Media.
ABS-CBN also bolstered its lead in Mega Manila as it scored an average audience share of 37 percent, beating GMA, which slid four points to 29 percent.
GMA, however, said it maintained its nationwide ratings advantage based on the latest data from the industry’s widely-trusted ratings service provider Nielsen TV Audience Measurement.
GMA posted an average total day people audience share of 38.6 percent in the National Urban Television Audience Measurement, which surpassed ABS-CBN’s 37.5 percent, in November.
GMA said in the morning block, it registered 36.1 percent people audience share against rival’s 32.1 percent.
GMA said it also led in the afternoon block with 40.2 percent people audience share, beating ABS-CBN’s 37.2 percent. “‹
