Kapusong Bicolanos are in for a wonderful surprise today as GMA Network—through its regional arm GMA Regional TV—celebrates this year’s Peñafrancia Festival with the stars of afternoon series The Stepdaughters and My Special Tatay.
Miss World 2013 Megan Young and actress Katrina Halili, together with prime leading man Mikael Daez, will have a Kapuso Mall Show in SM City Naga at 4:00 p.m.
Adding more kilig to the afternoon treat are the lead stars of the new afternoon program My Special Tatay, Ken Chan and Arra San Augustin.
My Special Tatay, which debuted on Sept. 3, features Ken as he tackles one of his toughest roles to date as Boyet, a man with Mild Intellectual Disability with Mild Autism Spectrum Disorder. In the series, Arra portrayes the character of Carol Flores, the best friend of Boyet.
Meanwhile, viewers continue to stay glued to their TV screens with the recent plot twists in The Stepdaughters. Mayumi (Megan) gets blamed for the death of Froilan (Edgar Allan Guzman). Francis (Mikael) is torn between his love for Mayumi and his grandmother who mourns Froilan’s death. Isabelle (Katrina), on the other hand, was shocked to find out that Luisa (Glydel Mercado) is still alive. Mayumi gets the upper hand as they are invited by Hernan (Gary Estrada) to live with him. Isabelle will device a scheme to get back at Mayumi again.
