Shortly after introducing You’re My Destiny, the first-ever Lakorn series in the country, GMA Network is proud to unfold a new Thai drama, Princess Hours, which is a remake of the hit Korean romantic comedy series in 2006.
Set in the fictional kingdom of Bhutin, ‘Princess Hours will tell the stories of Kathleen (Ungsumalynn Sirapatsakmetha), a normal student who dreams of becoming a famous artist someday; Ian (Sattapong Phiangphor), an heir to the throne; Nico (Stephane Saisean Pagniez), son of the former Crown Prince who died in an accident; and Minnie (Tanchanok Rithnaka), a strong-willed athlete, who dreams of competing in the Olympics as an archer.
Kathleen’s life turns upside down in an instant when she learns she’s betrothed to the country’s crown prince as a promise between their grandfathers. Crown Prince Ian has his eyes set on another girl, who turned down his offer of marriage.
Kathleen, on the other hand, agrees to the marriage as a way to help with her family’s financial situation. There’s also Prince Nico who starts falling for his cousin’s neglected Crown Princess. Nico’s mother has her eyes set on the throne for her beloved son.
How will Ian and Kathleen’s love story unfold? Between the two cousins, who will win the throne and Kathleen’s heart?
Princess Hours premieres today and airs Monday to Thursday after Kambal, Karibal on GMA Telebabad.
