Seized from the suspects were approximately 25 grams of shabu worth P125,000, and the P50,000 buy-bust money.

Esquivel said the suspects were newly-identified drug personalities and were responsible for the proliferation of shabu in Barangays Culiat and Old Balara.

Two of his companions were arrested.

Confiscated during the operation were one canister containing eight sachets of shabu, several drug paraphernalia, one cal. 45 pistol, one cal. 45 magazine assembly, six ammunition for cal. 45, several bank deposit slips and passbooks believed to be used in their illegal drug transactions.

Meanwhile, 17 other drug suspects were arrested in separate operations by different QCPD police stations on Monday.
