Wooden furniture pieces inject a timeless appeal to any home. They provide a chic, homey vibe and warm, welcoming appearance.
Singaporean furniture brand Commune carries artisanal wooden furniture in the latest designs and styles that are made for modern apartment homes. It offers pieces—created using mostly sustainably and ethically sourced American wood—for the living room, dining room, bedroom, and study.
The designs are inspired by international trends and ideas such as mid-century modern, modern Scandinavian, modern retro, industrial, and many others.
“We believe our furniture represents the changing tastes of younger generations and wish to introduce a home-making lifestyle that is ethical, sustainable, yet trendy and chic,” said Gan Shee Wen, sales and marketing director of Commune.
“We focus on wood furniture, minimizing lead and formaldehyde content in our production for environmental safety purposes, as well as focus on natural materials that are friendly to the environment.”
Commune brings these pieces to the country as it recently opened its flagship store in Manila at the Shangri-La Plaza Mall.
Audrey Ngui, who brought Commune to the Philippines, said the brand offers superior quality and designs at affordable prices.
Aside from modern and innovative furniture pieces, Commune offers a superior shopping experience. The in-store experience engages the consumer’s five senses—sight, smell, hearing, touch, and taste—through beautiful visual merchandising displays, excellent selection of wood furniture paired with modern accessories which they encourage customers to touch and feel, a customized Commune Home in-store fragrance, and a café that allows shoppers to gather with friends or family and relax in a cozy, homey environment.
Commune also offers in-store 3D interior planning and visualization service for homeowners.
Commune is located at Level 6, East Wing, Shangri-la Plaza Mall.
