BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya—Eleven barangays of Quezon town are expected to receive infrastructure assistance and development support from FCF Minerals Corp. this year.
Peter Storey, the firm’s general manager operations, said Monday the recipient barangays are Runruno, Aurora, Baresbes, Caliat, Calaocan, Darubba, Maasin, Maddiangat, Nalubbunan and Cordon.
“These projects are now in the pipeline and soon enough, they will be implemented this year in coordination with the local government unit of Quezon town,” he said.
Storey said the infrastructure assistance projects are concreting and improvement of Farm-to-Market and barangay roads , improvement and completion of multi-purpose halls, fabrication of basketball rings, construction of hanging bridges, construction of barangay hall.
These projects, he said is being rolled out under their Community Development Program.
Storey added that the projects will boost mobility of upland farmers in marketing their products, promote and strengthen camaraderie and peace and order in the recipient villagers and will further enhance their economic activities.
He said the technical assistance for the projects are being undertaken jointly with the LGU’s engineering division.#
