Immigration authorities ordered the deportation of a Chinese fugitive wanted for economic crimes in Bejing, China.
Jiang Yabo was arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 by operatives as he went to airport to send off his parents who were leaving for China.
“We will deport him for being an undesirable and undocumented alien,” Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente said.
The BI chief said the Chinese Embassy in Manila sought the bureau’s help in locating the fugitive as his passport was cancelled by the Chinese government.
BI intelligence officer and FSU head Bobby Raquepo said Jiang has been on the wanted list of the Chinese police since August 2016 by the Jianye branch of the municipal public security bureau in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, China.
