‘HALL OF FAMER.’ Wilcon Depot Inc. founder and chairman Emeritus William Belo, a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) class 1973, was recently inducted into the Thomasian engineer hall of fame for entrepreneurship by the UST faculty of engineering. A bachelor of science in electronics engineering graduate, Belo was recognized for “embodying the ideals of UST and showing the world what it means to be a Thomasian engineer from UST.” He established Wilcon Depot – the home improvement and construction supply retailer for industry professionals, home enthusiasts and homeowners nationwide.
