Are the Muhlach Twins ready for showbiz?

One of the perks of being Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales’s children, apart from becoming famous without exerting too much effort, is that you skip those awkward teenage years and go straight to looking camera ready almost all the time. This, we have observed when Andres and Atasha joined their parents in an event held over the weekend.

Already armed with good genes and a healthy network, we wonder if the 16-year-old twins are ready, or would be interested in following in their parents’ footsteps.

“I’m not sure yet. But I do enjoy doing commercials at the moment,” the tall and dashing Andres told the press during the Jollibee Chickenjoy event.

It’s easy to understand the lad’s response as according to Charlene, showbiz has never been discussed within their household.

“Right now I’m more focused on my studies because I made a commitment to myself and to my parents that I would finish school first,” the young Muhlach added.

For Atasha, on the other hand, if she would be given a chance, she’s willing to dip her toes into acting one day. But just like her twin brother, she wants to finish her studies before deciding whether she’d give showbiz a try or not.

“Whatever happens, we want to finish school first. Maybe I can try acting in the future,” Atasha chimed.

The twins’ response only brought smiles on Aga and Charlene’s faces as they confirmed that their children made  a promise to them about prioritizing their education above anything else.

Sweet looking Atasha is a beauty queen in the making, a future Miss Universe maybe, With his boy-next-door looks and apparent interest in basketball, people think Andres can be a matinee idol just like his dad.

“I’m not going to stop them if they want to be in showbiz, I will just let them decide on their own. But for now, it’s our call,” Aga asserted.

During the Jollibee event, Atasha and Andres shared the limelight with their famous parents talking about their fondest Jollibee memories as children. Couple Aga and Charlene, on the other hand, shared their experience as Jollibee endorsers as they talked about their bonding moments as a family, too.

The event also witnessed how glad the Muhlachs to talk about the latest Chickenjoy TV commercial, which brings another side of their family to the fore.  In the ad, which started airing in January, Aga reminisces key moments in his life as he remembers how the fast food chain product has been a huge part of their family bonding moments through the years.
