The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) made the rounds of temporary shelters to distribute toilets.

The agency made the donations to schools that have been converted into evacuation centers in Guinobatan and Malilipot.

PRC also handed out hygiene kits and face masks.

Some evacuees were also given psycho-social mentoring for those who were traumatized by Mayon's eruptions.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) estimates, Mayon's activities may last from one to three months.

Today, it spewed lava and ash at 8:15 am.

Steam explosions are ongoing at the summit of the volcano.
