Former Bureau of Customs (BOC) Commissioner Captain Nicanor Faeldon has been brought to Pasay City Jail in Pasay City.
The convoy accompanying Faeldon arrived in the jail facility just before noon today.
Faeldon is now locked up at the second floor of the male dormitory.
He is alone in his detention cell.
Police say this is for Faeldon's security.
It was the operatives of the Office of the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms (OSAA) who took him there.
Prior to his transfer from the Senate detention cell, he underwent a medical check up.
His transfer was signed by Senate Secretary Lutgardo Barbo.
Barbo is following the order of Senate President Koko Pimentel.
Faeldon is under the contempt of Senate after he refused to attend the Senate probe on the importation of illegal drugs that went past the BOC.
