The case of Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) against Pagkakaisa ng mga Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Opereytor Nationwide (PISTON) leader George San Mateo has been submitted in court.
The Quezon City Prosecutor's Office filed the charge at the Quezon City Metropolitan Trial Court based on the complaint of LTFRB.
Government prosecutors found probable cause to file a complaint against San Mateo for alleged violation of the Commonwealth Act or the Public Service Law.
The case is in connection with the previous transport strikes staged by San Mateo's group.
The case will be raffled off this afternoon.
A two-day transport strike is set anew by transport organizations on Monday and Tuesday (December 4 and 5, 2017).
The LTFRB sees no need to suspend school classes and government work on these days.
