BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya”•Provincial and municipal officials recently opened an P88-million farm-to-market road project to boost agricultural production of farmers in a remote barangay of Bagabag town.

Governor Carlos Padilla said the Kinacao-Kurasay-Kinalabasa Road Concreting Project was funded jointly by the provincial government and the Department of Interior and Local Government through the “Konkreto at Ayos na Kalsada ang Daan Tungo sa Pangkalahatang Kaunlaran Project” (Concreted Roads Toward Overall Progress) during the term of former governor Ruth Padilla, his wife.

“This has been a long dream of farmers in the three barangays to uplift their agricultural production. Portions of this road project has been earlier funded by the provincial government along with other national government agencies,” Carlos Padilla said.

Infrastructure development projects such as the KKK-RCP are now focused in the inner villages of the province to boost agricultural production, the governor said.
