ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. President Carlo Katigbak and other top executives recently held a meeting with Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) led by President Domingo Yap.
The meeting is in line with the the ethnic Chinese minority’s centuries-old tradition of socio-civic charities, hence FFCCCII promised to donate five public school buildings to rural areas in the country in partnership with ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, Inc.
Among many recent charities of FFCCCII include its July 25 giving P100,000 for each of the 101 government soldiers and police killed in the Marawi conflict.

FFCCCII has also donated drug rehabilitation centers in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao as well as support the idealistic Chinese-Filipino volunteer fire brigades nationwide.
